On February 17,2011, Phase One introduced the new digital back, IQ180 with photographer Steven Elphick using a Phase One camera and Bronclor lighting equipment at the S1 Group Studios. When the first session started, the studio became quickly packed with photographers who were eager to see the new digital back up close. The event turned out to be a truly inspiring and successful demonstration of the latest technology by world leading photo industry manufacturers, Phase One and Broncolor.
For this event, we brought a Para FB 220 with a diffuser , a Scoro A4S power pack(3200J), a Ringflash P and a Pulso G lamp head (3200J), which is a great combination for studio portrait shooting. One of the key features of broncolor Para FB 220 is the light quality that perfectly wraps around the subject. For model shooting, this feature helps photographers create beautifully filled lighting easily and quickly with a single light source. Another great feature is a focus and defocus control knob on the center pole of the Para FB 220. It allows photographers to adjust the focus of the light from the Para. When the location of the light source is moved inside of the Para FB 220, the light on the model becomes more focused. Conversely, when the light source is moved towards the outside, the light becomes defocused and softer.
The special fabric of the Para FB 220 consists of 24 panels which evenly reflect the light source, and created the powerful but soft effect lighting on the model when shooting. Broncolor Para FB 220 can be used with a Ringflash P, Pulso G lamp head, or broncolor HMI. Three different size Paras and three different textile thickness diffusers are available.
