The broncolor Canada warranty covers manufacturing and/or material defects for two (2) years. Warranty coverage begins from the date of purchase. Valid in all Canadian Provinces and Territories only.

Exceptions and Exclusions

Except to the extent restricted or prohibited by law, this warranty is subject to the following limitations and exclusions:

  1. This warranty covers eligible broncolor products purchased from authorized broncolor Canada dealers only and does not provide a warranty of any type or of any manner for any products purchased from unauthorized resellers, without exception.
    • This warranty does not apply to any product:
      • purchased outside of Canada,
      • purchased from any unauthorized dealer,
      • via “Fulfilled by Amazon”, or
      • any other outlet or clearance warehouse, whether physical or virtual storefront.

  2. Any broncolor lighting equipment received at our Service Department without proper Electrical Safety Certification marks (CSA, ETL, Intertek or equivalent) will be:
    • Returned at the sender's expense, or
    • Sender can request an estimate for Electrical Safety Inspection. If available for that product, estimate will include labour and any mandated hardware upgrade costs. Inspection will be performed at next scheduled service interval - sender will be advised of timelines at time of estimate.
      Any product received with Electrical Safety Certification marks that have been altered, forged or tampered with in any way will be returned immediately at the sender's cost.

  3. This warranty extends to the original consumer only and is not assignable or transferable;
  4. This warranty shall not apply to any product which has been subjected to misuse, alteration, abuse, negligence or accident (including being dropped), general wear and tear or has had its serial number altered or removed;
  5. This warranty shall not apply to any faults resulting from non-observance of safety instructions, incorrect handling or use of accessories from another manufacturer. broncolor Canada assumes no liability for damage resulting from non-observance of safety instructions, incorrect handling, use of accessories from another manufacturer or unauthorized intervention/modification;
  6. This warranty does not cover normal wear or cleaning, including dust;
  7. This warranty shall not apply to any defects or damage directly or indirectly caused by the use of unauthorized replacement parts and/or service performed by unauthorized personnel;
  8. This warranty shall not apply to any batteries, including rechargeable, or damage directly or indirectly caused by batteries;
  9. This warranty shall not apply to flash tubes, halogen lamps, protecting glasses, cables or textiles.

Warranty Claims

If you have a warranty claim, you may return your product to the authorized broncolor Canada dealer from whom it was purchased. Alternatively, you may send it directly to broncolor Canada, c/o Amplis Foto (see below). All warranty inspections must include a copy of your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem. Please ensure full contact information including your name, studio name, address, telephone number and email address. Please pack your equipment carefully, insure it and ship it prepaid. We will not accept any shipment that is not fully prepaid. If a shipment is received as damaged in transit, we will notify you so you may initiate a claim with the shipper. Amplis Foto will assist with photos and description of the damage. Amplis Foto will not repair any unit damaged in transit until the shipping company and/or their insurer have resolved the claim.

If your broncolor product is found to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced (at the discretion of broncolor Canada) free of charge. Amplis Foto will pay the return shipping charge for warranty services.

If your broncolor product requires non-warranty repairs, we will provide you with a preliminary estimate. Please note that Amplis Foto charges the following estimate fees plus shipping and applicable taxes:

  • $200 for all broncolor power packs (i.e., Scoro, Move, Senso, Verso, Grafit, Mobil and similar)
  • $30 for all other broncolor and all Visatec products (i.e, Siros, Pulso, mobiLED).

broncolor Canada, Amplis Foto, its employees and authorized agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect or consequence arising out of the use or the inability to use any broncolor product. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.

You should always retain your original proof of purchase for your records. You must present your dated proof of purchase that includes the model number, serial number and price from an authorized broncolor dealer in Canada if you are in need of repair service.

Please note that broncolor Canada and its authorized dealers reserve the right to refuse service and/or warranty claims for products which have not been registered, are being presented to a dealer who was not the selling dealer and/or have not been purchased from an authorized dealer in Canada.

You may have additional rights and privileges under local law and broncolor Canada’s warranty is provided in addition to any rights provided under relevant laws.
